“Magnificent… spectacular…” Orson Krennic pressed his face to the viewport, staring at Cloud City growing larger in the distance. He couldn’t help but marvel. “It’s like an oversized starlight lighthouse—super oversized.”

“Bespin is a star of the Outer Rim—a beacon!” Max said with full confidence. “With two talents like you backing me up, I believe Bespin’s future will be even brighter!”

In late February of Galactic Standard Year 6, the Cloud City–class multipurpose support ship carried Max, the two “recruited” geniuses, and an entire shipload of specialized crystal research equipment back to Bespin’s Cloud City.
