“Master, plans cannot keep pace with changes.” Count Dooku knelt on one knee, lowered his head, and defended himself. “Max Vizsla is far too wary of the Jedi. The established plan could not win his approval.”
Count Dooku’s actions had still effectively damaged the reputations of the Judicial Department and the Jedi Order, further increasing the distrust and centrifugal tendencies of Mid and Outer Rim planets and states toward the Galactic Republic. Even so, Darth Sidious was not satisfied.
On one hand, Darth Sidious had intended to ignite a large-scale Mandalorian civil war, or provoke a conflict between the Mandalorians and the Jedi Order. Then he could openly and legitimately send in the Judicial Fleet and the Jedi Order to intervene in Mandalorian affairs, using the opportunity to observe and evaluate the actual combat power and potential of both the Judicial Fleet and the Jedi Order.
