The cyberware clinic was dimly lit.

The white-haired ripperdoc dragged over a stool and plopped down beside the medchair. He yanked down one of the mechanical medical arms, cracked his neck, and loosened up his joints with audible pops.

Then, he started operating the implant machine, slowly maneuvering it toward Allen, who was lying on the chair.
