Chapter 54

Sitting on the steps in the alley, Lin Mo absentmindedly fiddled with the katana in his hands, his thumb occasionally pressing against the sword guard to slide the blade out a little, then releasing his thumb to slide it back into its sheath.

The soft ringing sound of the blade being drawn and sheathed echoed in the alley from time to time.

A few homeless people and thugs lingering in the alley cast wary glances at the seemingly impatient young man. While there was a slight displeasure at the noise disturbing them, none dared to approach and ask the young man to quiet down.
