At night, riding inside an AV, Karl looked down over Night City through the clear interface of the CrystalBall system.

“First time we’ve used an AV for a mission,” Oliver said, gazing out at the glittering cityscape. His eyes lit up, and an uncontrollable smile crept onto his face. “It’s gorgeous from up here.”

“Gives you that god’s-eye view of the whole city, huh?” Jackie stood by the hatch, eyes locked on Night City’s two tallest buildings in the distance. “Looking down on Arasaka Tower and the Militech building from up here... they don’t seem so big anymore. I spent half my life staring up at those things.”
