Chapter 1029

As the combat specialist on the left lunged in—stun baton in one hand, shield in the other—Karl twisted in midair and blocked with the body of his stun gun.

Bzzzt—!

The moment baton met metal, a shower of harsh sparks erupted. High-voltage current ran through the conductive surface. Even through the insulated grip, Karl felt the vibration. He didn’t hesitate, and he didn’t give the baton a chance to keep dumping current—he released his grip. The stun gun slipped free and spun away, drifting off into the distance.
