She turned to look at Evelyn lying on the bed. Her vital signs were stable—for now. Judy stared at the floor, her gaze empty. "I was thinking, if Ev recovers, I’d take her away from this place. And if she doesn’t make it... then I’d go alone, out into the Badlands."
